In March of 2013, Snooze AM Eatery came out to help Waste Farmers build out our urban homestead. The Snooze team also got to see how the compost their restaurant generates becomes an important ingredient in healthy soils.
I think it’s safe to say we all had a great day starting seeds and creating a strong foundation for the raised beds and hugelkultures.
At Waste Farmers we’re all about closing the loop. Our Maxfield’s soil products are made with yummy ingredients like aged compost, aged pine bark, coconut coir, biochar, rice hulls, worm castings, mycorrhizae and beneficial microbes. We developed these soil blends specifically for growing nutritious, organic food in Colorado, more sustainably. That food is then used to create fresh, organic, seasonal breakfast dishes.
It’s a win – win !
Gotta love local, organic, fresh food!
